My experience at this cafe can be resembled by the Brazil fan watching the world cup yesterday morning of the match between their nation vs Germany. With much anticipation and excitement based on the many many (over a thousand) positive votes, review comments and a high scoring of 89% at urban spoon, my friend and I traveled a long way to experience what we think is going to be a glamorous lunch meal. It was definitely a led down and heart sinking disappointment when we tasted the food. We ordered the Brookyn and Hibiki. Poor presentation, bad choice of container to hold the food makes it difficult to eat, average quality food. One might argue that the ingredient would be better than other cafes, but while there maybe some attraction in the main ingredient for each item on the menu (e.g. 5 hours slow cooked pulled pork), the flavours were not carefully calculated and does not harmonize with each other. The positives included the decor of the place and the friendly staffs. Seems more like a cozy bar than a cafe which might makes it a better venue for night time to catch ups with friends. As for me, I won’t be a return customer.
